Give up?

April 15, 1947, is the first day Jackie Robinson put on #42 as he suited up for the Brooklyn Dodgers.
With that one act, he changed major league baseball...and all other major league sports events.
He was chosen to break the color barrier because of his obvious talent and also because he had the strength of character to endure all the hostility he would meet along the way.

Hats off to Jackie Robinson!
and to Dodgers' manager, Branch Rickey!!
