Also for the Future

My husband and I took the tractor out to our woods and dug up a baby maple tree. We brought it back and planted it at the place last fall's baby tree was languishing. As we pulled the former tree out, we did see some tiny leaves. But, it was too late.
So, the new baby is in. We will water it and cover it against the possible frost tonight(!). And we will hope that it survives to be a legacy for future generations.
It's not too far from the blue spruce that we planted last year.

  1. Sending positive vibes and white light to the new little maple tree, may he live long, provide welcomed shade in the heat of summer, gently rustling leaves in the breeze, beautiful fall colour and happiness to all who admire his glory.
