The moderator of our association has just sent out a missive, encouraging our churches to collect packages of new socks and new underwear for the folks suffering from the flooding. That sounds practical and not as expensive as the buckets. I do hope our pastor brings it up; I'm sure he got the same email that I did.
I'm just so glad I didn't have to go through what they have gone through!

Well, it could be as expensive, depending on what underwear and how many you purchase to give away.
