Ethnic Groups

Today we went to the Institute of Texan Cultures museum and learned about the many different groups who came to Texas to make a life. We would guess the Spanish and the Mexicans, of course, but how about the Germans, the Dutch, the Swiss, the Polish...and many more. Each of the groups contributed their handiwork and attitudes to the whole that is Texas today. Even the place names reflect the diversity. I found this very enlightening.
