• Met a friend signing in for doctor appointment for lung testing
• Doctor advises she has been called for emergency with "someone having brething problems"
• Friend and I chat for 45 minutes
• Emergency admission of unknown person to ER by ambulance
• Weeping young woman in waiting room of hospital
• EMT's try to console female
• Female's mother comes and continues consolation
• Friend and doctor finish appointment
• Friend and I go for lunch
• I later learn that a young man has committed suicide, allegedly by hanging
• Apparently he felt LIFE was a four-letter word.
