Heading Out
Tomorrow we will be leaving Colorado Springs. It has been a good week with son and family. The kids are so much more mature than last year. They are now officially second graders and first grader. Reading is a big thing with them, for which I am glad. The two older ones both have corrective lenses; Tim has contacts at age 7 and Lydia has some very stylish glasses. Tim was reading to me from a book his aunt had given all of them several years ago. It is really quite adult reading and content, about huge trucks, tractors, and machines. Yesterday he learned about cotton, so we looked at the label of his jacket and found it is 90% cotton. He told his father about this later. And this is my last day of being with them, for this trip. Pray with me that it will be a fulfilling one.
